STEEL FIBER - SINUSOIDAL

SN (sinusoidal) steel fiber is a wave-shaped concrete reinforcement that ensures good workability of the mixture and effective shrinkage control, limiting the formation of cracks and tears.

włókno sinusoidalne

Sinusoidal Steel Fibers are shaped steel fibers with a continuous wave-like profile, designed for use as reinforcement in concrete and other cement-based materials.

The sinusoidal geometry provides mechanical anchorage within the concrete matrix. When properly distributed throughout the concrete mix, the fibers form discontinuous, three-dimensional reinforcement and can contribute to crack control and post-cracking performance.

Performance depends on factors including fiber geometry, dimensions, tensile strength, dosage, concrete composition and the requirements of the specific application.

Key Features

  • Steel fiber reinforcement

  • Sinusoidal, wave-shaped geometry

  • Mechanical anchorage within the concrete matrix

  • Distributed reinforcement throughout the concrete

  • Can contribute to crack control

  • Can improve toughness and post-cracking behaviour

  • Available in different dimensions and specifications

Typical Applications

Depending on the fiber specification, dosage and structural design, sinusoidal steel fibers can be used in:

  • Industrial floors

  • Concrete slabs

  • Precast concrete elements

  • Pavements

  • Shotcrete

  • Concrete products

  • General fiber-reinforced concrete applications

Product Selection

The appropriate fiber specification and dosage should be selected according to the concrete mix, required mechanical performance and design requirements.

For structural applications, the suitability, fiber dosage and required performance should be determined according to the applicable design requirements and supported by relevant technical documentation and testing.
