HE (Hooked End) steel fiber is an effective concrete reinforcement that, thanks to its hooked ends, ensures excellent anchoring, limited cracking, and high durability and safety of the structure.

STEEL FIBER - HOOKED

Włókno stalowe

Hooked Steel Fibers are steel fibers with mechanically formed hooked ends, designed for use as reinforcement in concrete and other cement-based materials.

The hooked-end geometry improves mechanical anchorage between the fiber and the surrounding concrete compared with straight fibers. When uniformly distributed throughout the concrete mix, steel fibers provide three-dimensional reinforcement within the concrete matrix.

Their performance depends on factors including fiber dimensions, geometry, tensile strength, dosage, concrete composition and application requirements.

Key Features

  • Steel fiber reinforcement

  • Hooked-end geometry for mechanical anchorage

  • Distributed throughout the concrete matrix

  • Helps control crack development

  • Can improve post-cracking performance and toughness

  • Available in different lengths, diameters and aspect ratios

  • Suitable for various concrete reinforcement applications

Typical Applications

Depending on the fiber specification, dosage and structural design, hooked steel fibers can be used in:

  • Industrial floors

  • Concrete slabs

  • Precast concrete elements

  • Shotcrete

  • Tunnel linings

  • Pavements

  • Concrete structures requiring distributed fiber reinforcement

Product Selection

The appropriate fiber type and dosage should be selected according to the concrete mix, required performance and structural design.

For structural applications, fiber specification and dosage should be determined according to applicable design requirements and supported by appropriate technical documentation and testing.
