CRIMPED FIBER - WAVE

High-strength TWIST polymer fiber for concrete reinforcement, increasing crack resistance and structural durability.

włókno polimerowe karbowane

Crimped Wave Fibers are mechanically deformed fibers with a continuous wave-shaped profile, designed for use in concrete and other cement-based materials.

The crimped geometry increases mechanical interaction and anchorage between the fiber and the surrounding concrete compared with smooth, straight fibers. When properly dispersed throughout the concrete mix, the fibers form distributed reinforcement within the concrete matrix.

Their performance depends on factors including fiber material, geometry, dimensions, tensile properties, dosage, concrete composition and application requirements.

Key Features

  • Crimped, wave-shaped geometry

  • Mechanical anchorage within the concrete matrix

  • Distributed reinforcement throughout the concrete

  • Can contribute to crack control

  • Can improve toughness and post-cracking behaviour

  • Available in different dimensions and specifications

Typical Applications

Depending on the fiber material, specification, dosage and design requirements, crimped wave fibers can be used in:

  • Industrial floors

  • Concrete slabs

  • Precast concrete elements

  • Pavements

  • Shotcrete

  • Concrete products

  • General fiber-reinforced concrete applications

Product Selection

The appropriate fiber type, dimensions and dosage should be selected according to the concrete mix, required performance and intended application.

For structural or performance-critical applications, fiber suitability and dosage should be determined according to applicable design requirements and supported by relevant technical documentation and testing.
