Black Welded Mesh – Raw is manufactured from uncoated steel wire, with the wires arranged at right angles and welded together at each intersection to form a rigid and uniform mesh structure.

The mesh is supplied without galvanizing or an additional protective coating. As a result, the steel retains its natural raw finish and may develop surface oxidation when exposed to moisture or atmospheric conditions.

Raw welded mesh is suitable for fabrication, further processing and applications where an uncoated steel surface is required. It can be cut, formed or incorporated into other steel structures and products, depending on the required specification.

Raw welded mesh is supplied without a protective zinc or organic coating. When exposed to moisture or outdoor conditions, corrosion and surface rust may occur. Where corrosion protection is required, an appropriate protective finish should be applied.
